Railfan Brony Advent Calendar Day #13: TTTE S5E2 - Horrid Lorry

It's been a while since I reviewed solo episodes, hasn't it? Why not have the first one in a while be a season five episode?

THE OPINIONS, THOUGHTS AND MUSINGS IN THIS BLOG POST ARE SOLELY THOSE OF ZACK WANZER, NOT THE THOMAS FANDOM IN GENERAL

Season 5, Episode 2
Horrid Lorry
Written by Britt Allcroft and David Mitton
When Percy runs late due to too much work, Cranky suggests that a lorry helps the engines out - three, in fact. However, they're rude towards the engines but soon get their comeuppance - one gets smashed falling off of a cliff, another breaks down from being overloaded, and the third falls into the sea. After that, they're sent away in disgrace - Smashed, Broken, and Sunk.

Kind of unimportant, but why isn't the episode called Horrid Lorries? Anyway, I actually quite liked this one; we really need more road vs. rail stories, and I feel the lorries proved that quite well. What's quite strange is that Butch appears but he doesn't have a face - was it oversight on the model makers' part? It's also kind of funny to see the driver survive, albeit with a cartoonish bump injury on his head. It's a wonder as to how he survived such a fall!
